My name is Soloman. I run The Supra Page and have been the person behind gathering and writing these stories for the past 4 years and counting.

My inspiration came from Instagram. I noticed one day everyone tends to ask or talk about the technicals of a build. Perhaps, I’m just a weirdo who asks too many questions. Maybe a series of weird builds on my feed made me question what life experiences led these people to invest so much time and energy into certain cars or engine swaps. One day I had enough of the same discussions.

Forget about wheel fitment or who has the best build like we’re in a pissing contest. I want to talk about the late-night drag race where you lost to a JZ-swapped monster which led to your first purchase of a MKIII back when they were cheap. The guys who experienced Fast and the Furious for the first time and set on buying a MKIV. What did that process look like? How does someone go from bouncing around in the backseat of off-roading Land Cruisers as a kid to a die-hard Toyota fan? These experiences are what I wanted to read about. Right now, as I type this I want to know what went on behind the scenes before some guy decided to Cummins swap his MKIV. Dont you?

We’ve all seen a 1UZ swapped MKIII, 7M MKII, and the ever-growing list of transmission swaps. The technicals start to look the same and so do the questions and arguments of which is better. If you don’t know what I’m talking about just pull up the forums or your local Supra group. I’m here to spice things up and show a different side of our tight-knit community.

Is that a Supra? If so, you could be our next feature!
