Joey’s MKIII

This is Joey’s 1989 Toyota Supra. Joey has always wanted a Mk4 Supra. But as most of us know, they had started getting pretty expensive. During this time he didn't even like the Mk3 and thought they were pretty ugly. Until he came across 1JZ and 2JZ powered Mk3s.

His 89 was imported from Sweden to The Netherlands for him. It came with a 1jz single turbo however everything on the car turned out to be either cheap or broken. To top that off the wiring was even worse, everything done to the car was in horrible shape.

Joey got rid of all the cheap parts and put some branded parts on such as a Borgwarner S360SX Turbo, Tial wastegate, FIC 650cc Injectors and a Walbro 450 pump. He redid the whole wiring harness and upgraded to smart coils and installed an AEM standalone ecu.

In the future, Joey has quite a few plans. Among them are body add-ons and a paint job. For the engine he plans on adding BC 264 cams and a built 2JZ bottom.
